Bokamadi has given an account of what happened when a car bomb attack
killed more than a dozen people and injured 60 more in a Motor Park in Nyaya, a
suburb of Abuja. Mr. Bokamadi said
the blast occurred around 8:00pm when a bomb-laden Volkswagen golf car exploded
at the Karshi Taxi Park, a few metres, close to a motor park where at least 70
people died in a bomb blast on 14 April.
Force Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police, Frank Mba said the impact of the blast
left 12 people dead and 19 injured. CSP Mba,
described the number of the casualties as ``provisional'' saying
investigation into the explosion had already begun. No group has claimed
responsibility for Thursday's attack. The militant group Boko Haram
said it was behind the fatal explosion last month.
