BOKO HARAM ALLEGEDLY THREATENS TO ATTACK ADAMAWA UNIVERSITY IN A LETTER

Students of Adamawa State University have started scampering for their lives after receiving written threats from unidentified sources over the last 2-week period. 

The dire content of the letters substantially raised tension at the campus among the students and the leadership, who believe they were written by Boko Haram. Referring to its source, Sahara Reporters provides that the letters are not fake.

It has been learnt that in fear for their lives many students fled the only hostel, "Barde Hall", available to men. After Saturday night spent is the majority without sleep, the popular "hang-out" hostel became almost empty.

BORNO WOMEN REPEL BOKO HARAM ATTACK WITH MAGIC

Report has it that some women in Attagara and Kawuri villages in Gwoza and Bama Local Government Areas of Borno State, on Monday reportedly repelled attacks on their community by suspected Boko Haram sect members.
Attagara which is a border town with Cameroon is about 10 kilometres South-East of Pulka District in Gwoza, and it’s about 130 kilometres from the state capital Maiduguri. 

According to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity, about seven of the sect members stormed the village on motorcycles and met the women.

North Korean leader executes engineers behind collapsed building that killed 500

According to two Chinese newspapers, North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un ordered the execution by firing squad of 4 design and construction engineers who built the 23-storey building that collapsed in the capital of Pyongyang on May 13th 2014 leading to the death of about 500 people.

92 families lived in the building as at the time it collapsed and most of the people killed were top intelligence and security officials. Kim Jong Un gave a rare public apology to North Koreans after the collapse occurred and ordered an inquiry. The four engineers were reportedly executed last week.

The main cause of the building collapse remains unclear but shoddy construction is said to be a likely cause because onsite directors and workers often smuggle out steel and cement to sell in black market

Kim Jong-Un has been reported to execute anyone who falls short of his expectations, including members of his own family. Killing engineers though? Who supports this?

EXPOSED: I Know Where Boko Haram Leader Shekau Is Hiding

A popular Islamic scholar and leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria popularly called Shiite Muslim group, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky has revealed that the leader of the Boko Haram terrorist group, Abubakar Shekau is being shielded secretly by agents inside the Nigerian military.

While revealing that he knows the hide out of Shekau, the most wanted man, Sheikh Zakzaky said:

"Abubakar Shekau is presently being kept safe in a military camp. Let no one be fooled, there is nothing like Boko Haram. It is a covert operation to balkanize Nigeria and steals its resources in the name of search of Boko Haram insurgents. If you can fool others, we cannot be fooled. 

"They have realised that there is gold in Zamfara and Zaria, Birnin-Gwari, gold and platinum in Sokoto and Borno.

BOKO HARAM KILLS 24 PEOPLE IN BORNO YESTERDAY

At least 24 people were killed on Sunday when Boko Haram gunmen raided a village in northeast Nigeria, where the Islamists have stepped up deadly attacks on villages in recent months, residents told AFP.

Dozens of motorcycle-riding gunmen stormed Kamuya village in Borno state after sunrise as locals were heading to the weekly market, opening fire on residents.

The attacks indicate how Boko Haram, who captured world attention after kidnapping more than 200 schoolgirls last month, can attack seemingly at will and the Nigerian military's fragile grip on security.

President Jonathan Withdraws From 2015 Presidential Elections

                    
Although some Niger Delta youths have said President Goodluck Jonathan must contest in 2015 in spite of the obvious failings of his government on almost all fronts, it appears he is ready to take the part of honour.

In a speech that has taken his associates and opponents by surprise, President Jonathan on Sunday assured the people of Nigeria that a different government and leadership would be installed in the country in 2015.

Jonathan made the surprise statement at a “Democracy Day” church service held Sunday in Abuja.

Surprisingly, before Jonathan’s speech, the head of the Nigeria Pilgrims Commission, Reverend
John Kennedy Opara, had set the tone when he told the gathering that this year's Democracy Day celebration would be the last to be celebrated by President Jonathan.

NIGERIAN ARMY CAPTURES BOKO HARAM'S ARMS SUPPLIER IN ENUGU STATE

The Nigerian Army has announced the captured of three people they believe are suppliers of arms for the dreaded Islamist militant group, Boko Haram.

According to Nigeria Bulletin, the suspects include a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, and a corporal, Abu Haruna, Solomon, arrested for illegal trafficking of arms and ammunition.aSome of the arms and ammunitions recovered from them include 40 AK47 magazines, 4 boxes of AK47 live ammunition, 100 pieces of live cartridges, one piece of Denin Mopol khaki and charms concealed in a cap.

The captured arms suppliers confessed their involvement in supplying of arms to insurgents in the Northern Nigeria.m Imo State.

A police corporal serving in Imo State Police Command was also involved in the arms running, according to a source.
The suspects were said to be taken to Nsukka Police Division before their transfer to the state CID.

EX-CHELSEA MIDFIELDER MAKELELE BECOMES BASTIA COACH

Former Chelsea midfielder, Claude Makelele has been named as the new manager of Ligue 1 side Bastia.

The 41-year-old former French international, who had been serving as assistant to Laurent Blanc at Paris St Germain, has left the post after he was given a two-year deal at Bastia.

While announcing the appointment, the Ligue one club said on the club's official website: "Sporting Club Bastia is pleased to announce that Claude Makelele will be the trainer for the next two seasons. "He will arrive in Bastia on Monday when he will sign his contract before being presented to the press the next day."

Makelele began his coaching career when he joined Carlo Ancelotti's staff at PSG following his retirement from active football in 2011.

The former Real Madrid midfielder stayed in the capital when the Italian left for Real Madrid but will now take on his first managerial job on Corsica.

Makelele won 71 France caps in a glittering playing career which saw him represent Celta Vigo, Real Madrid, Chelsea and PSG.

Borno State Governor Should Be Held Responsible For The Abduction of Chibok Girls – Oritsejafor

President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayo Otitsejafor has said the Borno state governor, Kashim Shettima, should be held responsible for the abduction of over 200 Chibok schoolgirls by Boko Haram insurgents on April 14, 2014 for refusing to heed the earlier advice given by the West African Examination Council.
The CAN President said this in a telephone interview with the correspondent of a National Daily, Punch.
He also urged the governor to stop blaming the Federal Government for his failure to protect the lives of the citizens in his state.
